REDNESS AND SENSITIVE SKIN
Redness and sensitivity can be caused by a reactive skin barrier, environmental triggers, over-exfoliation, or inflammatory skin conditions such as rosacea.
In your consultation we’ll explore your triggers, assess your skin’s barrier health, and build a plan that prioritises comfort, resilience, and a calmer-looking complexion — with a cautious approach to in-clinic treatments.
Treatments that may help (depending on suitability) may include a barrier-support skincare programme, gentle treatments focused on hydration and barrier function, and skin boosters only where appropriate (and typically not during an active flare).
Important: persistent facial redness, flushing, burning/stinging, visible vessels, or spot-like breakouts may suggest rosacea, which is a medical diagnosis. If rosacea is suspected or symptoms are worsening, we may recommend GP or dermatology input alongside your skin plan.
