Your appointment is very important to Emily Self Aesthetics and I will do everything possible to make the process easy for you to select a time that suits.
Sometimes other patients want to book the same time
and request to be put on a waiting list.
Eligibility

We treat adults aged 18 years and over only.

We may request photo ID.

Please do not bring children to the Clinic unless they are old enough to be left unsupervised. Children are not permitted in the treatment room.
Online bookings & appointment confirmation

Appointment slots are limited. Appointments are only confirmed once the required deposit has been received and cleared.

You are responsible for selecting the correct appointment type/length when booking online. If the booking is unsuitable or insufficient time is allocated, we may need to amend or reschedule.
If you are unwell
-
Please do not attend if you are unwell. Many treatments are contraindicated if you are unwell, including (but not limited to) colds/flu-like illness, cold sores, or local skin infections. If you are unsure, please contact us to discuss.
Consultations, medical information & suitability

You must provide complete and accurate medical history, allergies, medications (including over-the-counter and supplements), and relevant lifestyle information.

You must inform us of any changes to your health between booking and your appointment.

The practitioner reserves the right to refuse, postpone, or stop a treatment if you are deemed unsuitable, consent is not valid, the medical history is incomplete, or it is not in your best interests to proceed.
Deposits
Deposits secure your appointment time and help cover administration.
Consultation deposits

Consultations are secured with a £30 booking deposit (paid via invoice by bank transfer).

Consultation deposits are non-refundable.

The £30 consultation deposit is deducted from the cost of a future treatment provided that treatment takes place within 3 months of the consultation.
Treatment appointment deposits

Treatment appointments are secured with a 50% deposit.

Treatment deposits are non-refundable.
Cancellations & rescheduling
-
Notice periods are measured from your appointment start time.

72+ hours’ notice: your deposit may be transferred once to a new appointment (subject to availability).

Less than 72 hours’ notice: your deposit is forfeited and cannot be transferred.

Returning patients who miss appointments may be required to pre-pay in full for future bookings.
Lateness

If you arrive late:

Your appointment may be shortened to finish at the scheduled time, and you may still be chIf you are more than 10 minutes late, you may be asked to reschedule and forfeit your deposit, as we require the full appointment time to provide safe care and we do not want to run late for other patients.arged in full, or

We may need to reschedule, which may be treated as a late cancellation under the cancellation policy.
Payments & payment plans

Payment is taken in line with your treatment plan and appointment bookings.

Payment plans may be available via Klarna, subject to eligibility. Please request this in advance so arrangements can be made.
Results, refunds & aftercare

Fees cover consultation (where applicable), treatment, advice, and aftercare.

Results vary between individuals and cannot be guaranteed.

Refunds are not provided solely because expectations are not met where treatment has been delivered as agreed and consented.

You are responsible for following aftercare instructions. If you have unexpected or worsening symptoms, please contact the Clinic promptly and seek urgent medical care where appropriate.
Botulinum toxin review (where applicable)

Routine review appointments may be offered as a courtesy 2–3 weeks after botulinum toxin treatment.

No additional treatment or “top up” is provided once the 2–3 week review period has passed.
Guests

With prior agreement, you may attend with one guest. Guests may be asked to wait outside the treatment room for privacy, safety, and infection control.

Your personal data is processed in line with our Privacy Policy. Records of assessment, clinical photographs, consent, and treatment may be retained as part of your medical record.
