As we head into the final weeks before Christmas, the festive buzz is definitely in the air! The run-up to the big day is always a busy time, and our clinic is no exception—there are only a few appointments left for last-minute skincare treatments, so if you’ve been thinking about giving your skin some TLC before the big day, now’s the perfect time to book.

It’s been a fantastic couple of months here at the clinic. On the work front, I’ve been expanding what I can offer to patients. I am fully trained in the ACCOR Plasma Pen, which means I can provide treatments for skin tightening, wrinkle reduction, scar and pigmentation improvement, as well as mole and skin tag removal, including a thorough mole and lesion check. You can find out more about this on the website. I’m also now on the second module of my Dermatology Diploma, focusing on dermoscopy, moles, lesions, and melanoma. It’s been absolutely fascinating, and it’s exciting to see how this knowledge will help me support my patients even better.

Looking ahead, I hope to reintroduce PRP after Christmas. This treatment has been brilliant for encouraging hair growth and improving scarring, and I’m thrilled to offer it again. The clinic’s skincare offerings continue to evolve too—Hydropeptides has been a huge hit with patients, and I’m already seeing fantastic results. I’m also really enjoying focusing on nutrition and treating from within, which has led to noticeable improvements in patients’ skin and overall health.

I’ve recently added a Skin Analysis machine to the clinic, so if you’d like a personalized assessment and an optimum treatment plan, just drop me a message. At the moment, Skin Boosters, especially NCTF by Filmed, are flying out of the clinic. The impact on skin tightening, particularly around the eyes, is giving patients a real confidence boost.

On a personal note, the festive season has been fun too! I attended the BAMAN Christmas Awards and party with my colleague Hayley. We got ready at Harrods, and I have to say, I’ve never had my hair blow-dried so perfectly straight—it was magical! Though the curls didn’t hold in the dreadful weather, it was a wonderful night of dancing, networking, and celebrating our profession. No award for me this year, but being shortlisted was a huge honour in itself.

Life outside the clinic is full too—Charles is thriving at school (takes after his mum!), and Ben is planning a house extension… maybe a new clinic in the future? Who knows!

As we all navigate the festive season, I hope everyone is managing to enjoy the magic of this time of year. I also appreciate that for some, it can be a challenging period.
