New Year, New Plans – and a Bit of Drama 🎄

Happy New Year, and I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and festive break. Mine came with a bit of unexpected excitement—I managed to fracture my coccyx on Christmas Eve! I fully embraced the role of “injured patient” and milked the sympathy for all it was worth, being thoroughly waited on and spoiled. I’m recovering well now, although it still catches me out occasionally. Thankfully, I have a fabulous sister, Hannah, who is an osteopath and has been giving me gold-star treatment.

Hannah has recently moved to King’s Lynn, so watch this space for osteopathy appointments—she is excellent.

Clinic Update – Important Location Change

After Christmas, I had to make the difficult decision to move to Little Massingham permanently due to upcoming regulations. I sent a letter to all patients explaining this change—if you didn’t receive it, please let me know.

From 1st March, all appointments will be held at Little Massingham Manor.

For a short time, I’ve also opened up Wednesdays and Thursdays, although this may change depending on some exciting potential job opportunities in the pipeline. You’ll be the first to know as things develop.

A Quick Tech Update

I now have a new Google Business Profile, which unfortunately means all previous reviews have been lost. I’ll be sending out a new review link in due course, and I’d be hugely grateful to anyone who is happy to leave feedback again.

Thank you so much for your patience with the new booking system and for feeding back when the bots decided to misbehave. It’s taken a bit of ironing out, but I think we may have finally nailed it.

I’ve delegated all the tech and admin wizardry to someone who actually knows what they’re doing—which frees up my time for studying and being in clinic (much more my comfort zone!).

Education & Exciting Treatments

Back in January, I attended a fantastic teaching session with Croma, which reinforced just how powerful Revitalis and polynucleotides are for skin health. In combination, they really are the pièce de résistance—and I’m already seeing some great results in clinic.

I’m currently working through my dermatology course (module three—though I briefly thought I was on module four… that was a humbling moment!). This module focuses on facial rashes, scalp disorders, and hair conditions, which has been incredibly interesting and clinically relevant.

Looking Ahead – Personalised Prescription Skincare

Alongside my dermatology studies, I’m exploring Klira Skincare, a subscription-based service where I can prescribe a personalised “cocktail” cream tailored specifically to your skin, with support from a dermatology consultant.

I love the idea of simplifying skincare—especially for patients with more complex conditions who may benefit from targeted prescription formulations rather than the traditional cleanse–tone–moisturise routine. This could be a great option for some patients, and I’ll share more once I’ve trialled it further.

As always, thank you for your continued support. 2026 is shaping up to be an exciting year—so watch this space.

Best Wishes,

Emily
